Litigation Attorney

Latham Keele Lehman Ratcliff Carter & Clarke, PC (LKL) is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing team in Tulsa or Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience and be comfortable taking an active role in all stages of litigation, including conducting and defending depositions, preparing cases for trial, and advocating for clients through resolution.

Responsibilities

· Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.

· Conduct and defend depositions.

· Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.

· Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.

· Handle written discovery and participate in all aspects of the discovery process.

· Prepare witnesses, evidence, and legal arguments for hearings and trial.

· Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

· Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.

· Independently manage assigned matters while working collaboratively with attorneys and support staff.

· Evaluate cases, identify risks, and develop effective litigation strategies.

· Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines and court requirements.

Qualifications

· J.D. from an accredited law school.

· 3+ years of litigation experience.

· Licensed and in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association.

· Experience taking and/or defending depositions.

· Trial experience or significant trial preparation experience.

· Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

· Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.

· Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
